Amazon Prime Video is launching a live-action series about Spider-Man starring Nicolas Cage. In "Spider-Noir", Cage plays an aged Peter Parker who acts as a private detective in 1930s New York. He is known for striking first and asking questions later. Instead of the typical, colorful Spider-Man costumes, Peter wears a dark, zeitgeist-inspired outfit and embodies an experienced, ruthless detective who sets his own rules. The character is constantly struggling with inner conflicts, as unsolved cases and escaped criminals weigh heavily on his conscience.
The “Spider-Noir” series is available in both a color version and a stylish black-and-white version.
