Even a tomcat can have a rude awakening. After countless risky journeys and careless adventures, Puss in Boots is horrified to discover that his passion for danger has ultimately come at a price - his thirst for adventure has already consumed eight of his nine lives. In order to provide some much-needed new vitality, the charming whiskered trickster sets off on the long journey into the Black Forest to find the mythical wishing star.
Unfortunately, with only one life left in the cat's account, this undertaking turns out to be unusually risky, so that not only serious restraint is required, but also a little support in the form of the adorable and devious Kitty Velvet Paw and the good-humored, chatty four-legged friend Perro. Together, the unusual trio must take to their heels to stay one step ahead of Goldilocks and her three notorious gang bears as well as the nasty bounty hunter Big Bad Wolf.
