Martin Gero, a well-known author of "Stargate: SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis", is taking over the creative direction. Stargate" creators Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin are also returning as producers. They emphasize: This is not a reboot. The series is intended to tell a fresh story that even newcomers can understand.
