I read the books probably 3x thatis how good they are. And was looking forward to Daniel coming to live just like the potter books. These series of books is a masterpiece but the movie left out tons of details. Daniel was not played right neither was Cam that was shocking to me and the material they left out like the swim by the lake, the battle at the cemetery ect. Truly disappointing do yourself a favor read the books then watch the movie.

It wasn't bad. I watch a lot of romance movies. I read the books after I watched the movie because the storyline was so intriguing. You'd need the budget of a huge Hollywood studio to pull off everything that happens in the first book, but they definitely pulled it off. I would say it's got a top quality lifetime movie thing going on. Don't expect the world but it'll be a satisfying Love story for a rainy day.

I read the books back when I was in the demographic for them. Even back then, those books were a chore to truck through. I read them because most of my friends RAVED about how brilliant they were, how it took a new look at teenage romance books. I literally almost couldn't finish them. I was surprised when I watched this movie. Even with as bad as those books were, this movie is even worse. There are some great YA books out there, make movies about those. Don't turn dogcrap into worse than worse than dogcrap.
