One of the worst movies I've ever seen. For a three-hour movie, there's a hell of a lot of filler scenes. 90% of it was just useless suspense and action that made 0% sense in relation to the story. And don't get me started on Matthew Mcdonald-hey's accent... He'd be all southerny then he'd be all Batman and then southern again? Whatever. The plot makes no sense either! This brat child named Smurf thinks there's a ghost in her room that's actually some weird "gravitational anomaly" and it's always knocking books off of her shelf. Then there's a sandstorm that makes Matthew McConaughey stumble upon some weird NASA place where they recruit him to go on a space mission to "save the world" and even though he's a civilian that was caught trespassing they let him go on this mission nearly immediately with no training or briefing? And it's all a sham for some reason? Idk but I think if you're going to space then you need much longer than 2 days to prepare! Sorry this is so disorganized and makes no sense, but this movie is so all over the place that I can't even put into words how confusing it was to watch.

One of Nolan's best and the last really great Sci Fi seen since its release.. it does have its faults, namely the length and the sometimes convoluted story just drags, but McConaughey is in top form here and I don't really even like much of his work, but he was excellent here. Chastain is just ok, her younger counterpart was better. Ann Hathaway has always been just average in my eyes, but does an ok job.. Zimmer's Film Score is an absolutely beautiful composition.. & is BEST part of this film

This is by far the best movie I've ever watched. I would give it 5 stars but I have one issue, for this one issue I would give it 4.5 stars but that isn't an option. My issue is that it's too short, sure it's long, but there are a couple characters that we don't get too emotionally attached to. That's it, I just think it should have been 3 or 3.5 hours instead of 2.5.
